Historic charm with a twist

Staying in this charming old hotel seemed like stepping back in time. The location was perfect for exploring Taos called for numerous adventures.

Our experience was marred by a non-functional AC unit, made the nights uncomfortably warm even with the window open.

I thoroughly enjoyed fabulous views!

The room was modern and elegant, the bad was extremely comfy. The bathroom was clean, with a bathtub.

had incredible stay of our incredible vacation and the weather was warm. we was upgraded to a spotlessly clean and huge room with the windows open. we appreciated that there were a refrigerator, an air conditioning, and an iron.

The location is fantastic, with the taos art museum and numerous dining spots just a short stroll away, made my weekend exploration easy. The staff were friendly and my room was comfortable, ideal for single travelers looking to dive into the city's charm.

Location, design/decor, price

It was very clean and nice and quiet while I was relaxing and sleeping. The staff seemed friendly and always ready to help.

There wasn't a nice breakfast place on site and that I had to pay for parking--$6.00/night just to stay at this facility.

The historic charm of this hotel is evident, with a clean and comfortable room featuring a nice bed and quality linens. The location is excellent, right by the plaza. However, my check-in experience was less than ideal, with some inconsistencies in service and facilities like internet access not functioning properly during my stay.

Good location and good parking. Friendly staff who were willing to assist. Resturant was excellent in food, service and pricing.

We spent two nights. The hotel is on the square. It is a nicely renovated hotel. Rooms are a little small, but still comfortable and quaint. The staff is incredible and will see to your every need. It is a family owned hotel and they really want you to enjoy your stay.

The central location made exploring Taos easy. The absence of air conditioning posed a bit of discomfort at times. A good American experience!

The hotel was charming and its location on the plaza couldn't be better. The atmosphere as you walk in takes you back to a slower, more relaxed time. The staff was courteous and helpful.

The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The room's air conditioning was controlled at the front desk, so you had to call them to turn it on and off. The bathrooms were a step up from your room, so if you're infirm or too groggy, you may wind up on the floor. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Great southwest architecture. Reasonably priced. Great location on Taos square.

Rooms are a little small (as is mostly usual with historical hotels). Resturant was good to average, predominantly Hispanic food.
